Something is strange. There's a walking, talking, mouse behind the bar. He's wearing a black cloak as well. He wipes off the bar top while standing on a few boxes.

The board behind him says:
Tonight's Specials
Mickey Mouse
Cherry Cheesecake
Cheesecake

Have at!

There's a cat watching the mouse from the rafters.

Looking conflicted.

It's a big mouse. Bigger meal, it'd save tab money.

Bigger than a demon-rabbit. Probably tastes better, too.

And bartending. ...that may put a kink in his plans.

Wait-rats are off-limits BUT THIS IS NOT A WAIT-RAT.

... Kyo's cousin is a rat and a patron and is off-limits, but he looks like a boy most of the time and this one actually LOOKS like a rodent.

If... a very odd rodent.

It warrents more investigation, he decides, slinking closer along the rafter.

Mickey does notice the cat but he goes about his business at the bar at this present time.

The not'cat stops and crouches on its rafter, above the bar.

"Are you a mouse?"

Just being careful. Some creatures aren't what they're shaped like, in Milliways, the cat in the rafters included.

He says this simply and then thinks,

"However, I would prefer to not be food."

"Though most mice don't bartend. Even the rats don't. They just serve."

As they should, thinks the Mogget, but he keeps that to himself.

"Unfortunately, I am only the substitute bartender. Although I don't think I'd mind doing this on a regular basis. It's relaxing."

"It is," he nods, green eyes still on the... mouse. "I bartend two or three times a month. One meets new people, tries new things. It is nice."

"I'm assuming one might express interest to Mike on that matter? It seems more people know me than I know... It might be good to take a few shifts here and there to help patrons get to know me."

He corrects himself: "Well, Riku doesn't like me on behalf of Sora."

And again: "Or he didn't, before, at least."

That last conversation with Riku was weird.

"Not even a story, really. Just a name. Sora mentioned you when I was seeking information for Axel's heart; Axel mentioned you when I asked him about the thing inside Riku, and about who would have useful information regarding hearts."

Yrael smiles slightly. "Said you'd probably be suspicious about why I wanted to know."
