Scottish weather is as Scottish weather does, and frankly, Adrian Shephard's seen a hell of a lot worse than gray and wet and cold. As long as he and Chell are here, he's got an obligation to make the best use of his time possible. When they go back to their world they're going to have a whole base full of human Resistance fighters to work with and ( Read more... )

Interrupted? Not so much interrupting, but noticeable: Tanya finished her run already, and is doing pull=ups on a tree limb.

It is good exercise, you see, the irregular grip of the bark serving to make her hands exercise extra too.

She pauses, hanging a foot above the ground, watching the runner.

Yeah, anyone else who's out here and willing to deal with the weather gets at least something of a look. Shephard stops and glances treewards.

Icon to the contrary, he's not wearing the gas mask right now.

[OOC: And we go straight to slowtime- I have a meeting, but it should be over in half an hour.]

Tanya drops down, offering the man a nod. Lets see... combat boots. Winter cammo pants. Tactical belt holding two pistols, a spare clip pouch and a knife.

Black tank top and dog tags. Winter BDU jacket hanging nearby.

Yup, military.

"Mornin', ma'am," Shephard calls; if she's familiar at all with American accents, he's West Virginian if anyone ever was. If not, he sounds like any other Southerner, and probably like most people's impression of most Americans. "Keepin' busy?"

There's a green child on a large, flat rock, going through what look like karate kata. Sprites don't like grey days any more than humans, but they like the cold; Enzo will simply keep his lips clamped against the wet.

Shephard may be unfamiliar with the boy's uniform, but it pretty obviously is one.

That, and after the blue guy the other night, Shephard's inclined to think just about anyone who looks like something out of a computer is probably in the service.

He's going to slow down a bit to have a look.

The kid's not bad for, well, a kid. Insofar as one can tell from rote forms.

Step, block, step, block, step, punch, punch, punch! Turn, step, block, "Hi!", step, block...

"Nice work," Adrian comments, but goes silent after that. You don't want to interrupt forms practice if you don't have to.
