Logan isn't an empath or telepathic but he does read people very well. Especially for threats. He knows Tanya. They get along and he was even in her world helping out not too long ago.
This isn't her.
It's hard to say whether it's mutant or animal instinct that tells him something is very wrong here but whatever it is he sees her and he's instantly on guard.
And pissed, because the sort of wary, dangerous behavior she's exhibiting isn't something that a person just goes through. It's inflicted upon them. He knows.
His approach is calm but he's fully aware of their surroundings, of how close her hands are to her guns, and the distance between them.
The woman bristles for a moment, by reflex, like an animal that was taught to fear and hate, then makes herself settle down. "A war. The Americans joined."
Logan's feral side reacts to the bristling; that combined with the scent of fear and anxiety coming off of her marking her as a wounded animal. He keeps that side of himself in check and regards her levelly.
"'Bout damn time they did."
He's trying to keep his body language neutral and non-threatening but there's always that dangerous sense about Logan that he can never totally get rid of. He's a predator, and it shows.
The woman nods. She is a wounded predator. A cornered one.
Dangerous and ready to strike, ready to go down fighting and take a bunch of adversaries along, Tanya scents of pain, fear and hate. She still scents of her healing wounds.
Logan's come a long way in training his mind to keep itself together and hold back the wild creature that lurks within him, otherwise the threat she posses as a wounded predator might be enough to set him off.
Tanya frowns more. "Yes, and no. We killed some of the interrogators and the commander." But she could not get all the 'volunteers'. Not even most of them.
"I'm the best there is at what I do, darlin'." He answers. "An' it ain't often I have people put up with me, so I don't like it when folks mess with the folks who do."
He doesn't seem bothered by the apparant difficulty of the task, and he isn't.
"You got somethin' I can track 'em by I'll go with that. Otherwise I hunt down anyone who would no an' get what I need from them. You got someone who can give me a lift North that's fine, otherwise ain't a problem for me to huff it. Won't be my first cross country trip ever, sure as hell won't be the last."
Logan was tortured, had his body pulled apart, his mind erased and his humanity stripped from him. When things like that happen to others he knows it really, really pisses him off.
"Make yer choice."
If they were from the same world he would do it anyways, but in this case he needs her to agree. She has to set him loose because he can't get there on his own.

"Hey girl, what's goin' on?"

Yes, talk about something else.

"What happened?" Blunt, but Logan usually is.

What happened? They hurt her. In ways she was not ready to face.
In ways she might not recover from.

"You out of it, or is it still goin' on out there?" He nods towards her door.

"I am on... vacation. To recover."

"You get the ones who did it?"

The offer is serious. And deadly.
In the past Logan has tracked to the ends of the world and back, hunted down people, taken out armies, for those he cares about.
He will tear a hole straight through Russia if Tanya's willing to open the door for him.

She blinks at Logan.
"And why you would do it?" Why anyone would want to help her, really? She is weak!

Mind not, it is part of the conditioning she received. They crushed Tanya's self-esteem very well, showing how useless she was in her efforts.
So... hard for her to think someone would hunt down her rapists across half of Europe.
"Ah."

She stops herself now. Breathes deep. "The door opens into headquarters. I am living there, since I don't have my own place in Frankfurt."
"Wait until I am back on the field?"
