There's a Game sprite approaching, looking vaguely concerned.

"Did everything go alright?"

[tanyadams]

Tanya almost jumps, before recognizing her friend. "As much as possible."

She smiles softly and seats herself next to Tanya.

"See, there was no need for all that worry, then."

[tanyadams]

"They needed me." She drinks more of her coffee. "The Americans joined the War. We have superior technology now, thanks to Professor Einstein..."

A green and glowing drink appears in front of AndrAIa, and she sips at it.

"I hope that gives your side the push it needs to win the war."

[tanyadams]

Tanya gives a low sigh and drinks her coffee, nodding.

Hopefully.

But a victory will not change what happened to her. Nothing will.

For a moment, the Game sprite is at a loss as to what to say. Instead, she just wraps an arm carefully around her friend's shoulders, giving them a gentle squeeze.

Tanya lets out a sigh, moving both arms around her friend and holding to her.

The non-human contact helps, and a lot. "It hurts."

Her free arm joins the other in hugging and she rubs her back gently.

"I know."

Tanya frowns, holding tighter: she is afraid of how Lucy will react, afraid of what Lucy might say... what her girlfriend might be feeling.

The woman is afraid of being alone again.

As usual, she allows Tanya to cling, and does her best to soothe her.

"Hey, it'll be alright, you'll see."

Tanya can not believe that.

She is afraid, afraid Lucy will not want her anymore... afraid she will not be able to let her girlfriend get close.

"I don't know."

A nod.

"Sure it will; it takes time, but it'll happen."

[tanyadams]

"AndrAIa... the thought of another huamn touching me, the simple idea, makes my hyperventilate." If a human touches her, she will have a panic attack.

"Alpha steps, Tanya, Alpha steps. It doesn't happen all at once, start small; start with Lucy. You know, she won't hurt you, right?"

"It is not a matter of knowing... It is..." Tanya blushes and shakes head, unsure if she can explain the conditioning she received. "It is... strange."
