This holiday spirit thing is finally starting to have an effect on Anakin. He emerges from the painting fairly whistling and bearing a number of carefully rolled up papers. He has realized it is doubtful he will get parts to make everyone's present before the upcoming holiday, and so is settling for giving them the plans for their presents instead

Obi-Wan waves back. "Um... 'yo'? Sounds more like a noise for getting attention than an actual greeting, but I suppose it makes the point."

"Teacher, this is Tim Hunter. He's another of my fellow bouncers. Tim, this is Obi-Wan Kenobi."

[timsbooks]

*Tim cocks his head at the older man, then shrugs.*

It works for that purpose, yes? Altough not always the right attention.

"If you're another of the bouncers in this place, I imagine you're more often trying to get others' attention than the reverse. What gifts do you bring to your job, may I ask?"

[timsbooks]

*Tim bows low, head touched to folded hands.*

Master Obi-Wan. It is truely an honor to meet you. The tales of your exploits are legendary and a true example.

*Tim straightens, a slight grin on his face.*

I am a wizard, good master.I feel i do not overstep myself in saying i am the most powerful one in this bar.

"A true example? High praise indeed."

He looks curious. "A wizard? Like Peter? Are you the most powerful anything in this bar as well?"

*Tim looks confused.*

Anything?

"No, I think the most powerful beings here are called the Endless. I know Desire and Delirium, but have not met the rest."

[last_master]

"Desire and Delirium? Are those names, job titles or descriptions?"

[timsbooks]

Ah.

*Tim nods.*

No, there are other beings more powerful. Possible the angels and demons, most assuredly the Endless. Death and Dream and all them. Natural functions.

*He looks to anakin again.*

Uhm, anakin... i got you a christmas gift...

*and he pulls out a wrapped box.*

"Why, thank you, Tim." He takes it carefully. "Shall I open it now, or wait?"

[last_master]

"Natural functions? Does the place get crowded when they're around?"

He looks at the gift-giving with curiosity.

[timsbooks]

Well, Death doesn't work here, but i think all the others do...

*Looks back to Anakin.*

Sure! Just don't kill me if i messed up and gave you something bad....

[last_master]

"Then I'm not going to die while I'm here? That's a relief. It'd be a shame if I only had a body again for long enough to fight another final duel."

Anakin gives them both a serious look. "I wouldn't even try, Tim. And there will be no dueling here, both because it's my job to keep the peace and because I will get between you and danger, Teacher."
