There is a table laden with snacks; cakes, biscuits, sausage rolls, gluten free chocolate chip cakes, and all sorts of goodies.

Guppy sits in one of the chairs around the edge, picking the chocolate chips out of the cake and eating them seperately.

"Who would like to begin?"

Kate smiled as she stopped by.

"Hey Guppy, nice spread today."

"Thanks, hey Kate. How are you doing?"

"Ok, getting ready for tax, and catching up with homework. You?" She asked as she munched on biscuit.

[guppy_sandhu]

"I got a video yesterday, Ani's been taking her first steps." He smiles fondly. "And I'm back at work, managed to convince the boss that I was healed up enough."

"Good, aww, I think there's a TV in here, can I see?"

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy bends down to his bag and pulls his laptop out. He starts it up, clicks the video, and passes it over.

It is, as suspected, very cute.

Kate awww'd and cooed at the video.

"Aww, she's so adorable. So big already too."

[guppy_sandhu]

"She'll be a year old in December." Guppy grins. "Which makes her an early walker."

Lookit the proud little smile.

"Well she's smart, like her big brother."

[guppy_sandhu]

"Actually, I was a late walker, but I appreciate the sentiment."

Kate ducked her head.

"...Oh, sorry."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy headtilts slightly.

"Hey, don't look so worried, it's not that bad. I may have been a fourteen month bottom shuffler but I seem to have turned out okay."

"Just worried I stuck my foot in my mouth again, and yeah you did."

[guppy_sandhu]

"You didn't." Guppy reassures her, passing her the biscuits.

"Are you fit enough to go to the tax with Will?" he asks, remembering. "Is there anything you need?"

"I'll be fine. I've been able to practice again, and don't need the bandages anymore, thanks."

She accepted the biscuits from him, and munched on a couple.

"Good. Wish I could come with you but..." he indicates the ribs. "Will said he'd rather I was here as backup anyway."
