The front door opens and two little girls go running in, giggling and carrying various toys (starship toys, baby dolls, stuffed gizkas) to an out of the way spot on the floor, next to a booth. Their mother, Kira Isek, follows them in, carefully balancing a stack of datapads on top of a few more stuffed animals

"Uh ohhhh." Ellia pipes up from the booth. Kaelyn giggles.

Kira sets her datapad down and glares at the twins. They're deceptively cute! Oh noes!

"I am so sorry." She quickly gets out of the booth to help pick the lady's things up.

"A gizka." She picks the toy up and tosses it to Ellia, who does not catch it, but tries. The one year old giggles and says 'gizka' a few times.

"They're even more hazardous in real life."

Out of the way, maybe, but Esfir still ends up stumbling. Not falling over - despite everything, she still has a sense of balance, but definitely stumbles.

(It is not, perhaps, only the toys' fault)

"--sorry!" Kira looks up in time to see her stumble. "The girls...they leave a wake of destruction..."

"It is what children do, I think." She looks up, and smiles quickly. "And I was not watching where I was going."

The twins clamber over to their toys, around Esfir's feet. Ellia picks up the stuffed gizka and holds it out to the woman. "Gizka!"

"Hey there," Teddy says when in the process of walking to the couches with a physics textbook, he runs into a stuffed gizka.

And then he looks up with a smile. "I remember you two!"

Ellia and Kaelyn give him chubby-fingered waves. They may or may not actually remember him...they're one, bless.

Kira remembers him though. "Pirate kid."

Teddy smiles and waves back. "Yeah, to my eternal chagrin. I really hope that being stuck with pirate speak doesn't lead to that being tied to my permanent reputation!" He laughs. "I normally go by Teddy."

Kira smiles. "Nice to meet you properly, Teddy. I'm Kira. Did I introduce the girls? Whatever, Kae and El."
