Zexion pauses as he reads the cover.

He looks like he wants to protest its very existence on principal.

The Medic glances up from a section on things to do with pancreases (it's probably best not to get more specific than that) and lifts an eyebrow. "Is there a problem, mein Herr?"

"Again," says the Medic, "I refer you to ze Gray's Anatomy Colouring Book. Und I understand ze Japanese haf some ideas about ze use of comic books in medical education also. Personally I vouldn't let a child anyvhere NEAR zis volume. Zey grab things und poke things und tear ze entire central section of ze aorta out vy mistake, und dot's vun expensive book to get repaired."

"Children should just be kept away from books until they know how to properly handle them. I don't know how many volumes have been ruined because someone got the bright idea that it was a toddler's chew-toy. Regardless pop-up and coloring books are juvenile. Can't you just find a human test subject?"

The Medic sighs ruefully. "Don't I vish," he says ruefully, "but not for zis. All my employers vill let me do vith my co-vorkers is trauma surgery und extreme lifesaving measures. No practising my transplantation skills, no reassembling of missing pieces, nossink. Zo I must vork vith zese until such time as circumstances change."
