Sora is in the bar today - sitting near one of the ends - with a milkshake before him.

He has a thoughtful expression on his face, but he certainly would not be adverse to company.

Someone is sitting at a different table, a milkshake of her own in front of her. Her whole face lights up when she spots Sora from across the room and she grabs her milkshake and runs over to where he's sitting.

"Sora!"

[aerora]

Sora's own serious expression melts away at the sight of Kairi. (She was always so good at doing that.)

He smiles.

"Kairi - hi!"

[keyblade_girl]

"Mind if I join you?" she asks him, smiling right back at him.

[aerora]

"No, I don't mind at all."

He shifts over a bit to allow her room.

"How've you been? It feels like I haven't seen you for ages."

[keyblade_girl]

"I know." Impulsively she pulls him into a tight hug. "I missed you."

[aerora]

As usual, he is shocked by the initial contact, but after a second, embarrassment (and happiness) settles in.

Rubbing the back of his neck with one hand, he lets out a muffled, "Aw Kairi, I missed you too" before returning the hug - quite wholeheartedly.

He is grinning, now.

"You know, I was having a kind of weird day before you showed up."

She lets go - blushing, just a bit - and looks at him curiously. "Yeah? What happened?"

[aerora]

"It's just something that happened a little while ago," he admits. "I haven't seen Riku around to talk about it either."

He shrugs.

"There are more Organization members here. A couple of them talked to me." And despite his better judgment, it's been bothering him.

[keyblade_girl]

She looks around the Bar, alarmed in spite of the fact she knows they're safe here.

"What did they say?"

[aerora]

She has no reason to be alarmed. He would never ever let anything bad happen to Kairi.

"They were just ... being the Organization," says Sora with a sigh. "Trying to convince me that hurting innocent people for their own gain was something to take into perspective."

It isn't.

[keyblade_girl]

Kairi frowns at his words. "Well they're wrong. Hurting people to get what you want shouldn't ever be the way to go."

[aerora]

"Exactly," he says, nodding firmly. "And I told them that before I left. I mean, it sucks that they don't have hearts, but they can't go around worlds stealing hearts from others like that. It's just not right."

[keyblade_girl]

She sighs. "I wish..."

[aerora]

He glances at her curiously.

"What, Kairi?"

[keyblade_girl]

"I wish that I could help you." she says softly, staring into her milkshake. "I mean, really help you. Be out there with you and help you fight."

[aerora]

At that, Sora shakes his head.

"No, Kairi. It's way too dangerous. I could never live with that, knowing you might be in danger all the time."
