[OOM:

start out depressed
and everything comes as a pleasant surprise]

When the door swings open on the hinges, it's tall and wide enough to allow both horse and rider to pass without brushing the frame. And as for the rider - he's dressed different than he was when he left, with a dark shirt and black rifle frock coat, and his face is speckled with the barest hint of blood, and he looks like he hasn't had a proper shower in a few days. Thankfully, it's late enough at night that the horse doesn't spook that badly.

Doc keeps a tight hand on the reins and it seems to take him a minute to react to being in the bar, but he clicks quietly under his breath and nudges the animal forward, careful to navigate the clearest path towards the back door. His shoulders are set strong, still, but from the look in his eyes it's obvious to those who know him that he's tired.

Of everything.

ooc: Semi-plotlocked. Please ping young scurlock before tagging. Doc's injuries are not visible to the casual observer and I'd like to not have too many threads on this, just because he's...well, he's not in the best state of mind right now and I've kind of already planned it out with a few other pups. Thanks guys!
