Knox is busy reading the papers for October 12, 1991 from all over America. He's got Two-Face sightings in Gotham, Superman rescuing flood victims in Texas, photos of the Flash outracing a car wreck and saving four lives, and a story of an India rubber man at a circus in Nebraska solving a murder. He's also got stories on the baseball playoffs (though he can't say the Twins, Braves, Pirates or Blue Jays interest him), confirmation hearings for a Supreme Court judge (which bores him silly), and an obituary for Redd Foxx (who was really funny sometimes). So nothing all that out of the ordinary.
