It's summer, or at least it ought to be. Only, you see, Coruscant doesn't really get summer. Coruscant doesn't get much of anything when it comes to weather, and sometimes that's okay (because who really wants a temperamental planet all the time?) and sometimes it's less okay

She figured, that when he didn't answer his comm, he was here. Only then he wasn't in the bar or upstairs...it basically took her forever to look out here.

Inyri slipped her shoe off and stuck her toe in the water after wandering up to him. "Nice umbrella."

Wes grins, very proud of said umbrella, and picks it out of the glass to twirl between his fingers.

"Pretty, isn't it? You found me," he adds, and nudges her gently.

"Yes. With my excellent sense of smell." She wrinkles her nose and nudges him back.

AKA: Wes is smelly. ♥

He snorts and pokes her more firmly.

"You're going to make me cry. Into my drink."

"But then your drink would get nasty." She wrinkles her nose and pokes him back a little harder. "All tear-tasting...and fruity."

He bats at her hand, then holds up his drink sadly.

"Exactly. So don't make me cry. Rum and juice and tears of pain don't taste good together."

She takes his drink from him to sip at it. "Mmm, this is tasty. Tears would hinder it."

Wes grins smugly and nods.

"--but does that mean you'll stop being mean to me, or just that you're going to keep my drink now?"

[majorinyri]

"Oh." Inyri smirks over the rim of his glass. "I'm keeping your drink."

Wes sighs -- this is the end of the universe, truly -- and lies back on the grass, hands under his head.

"I hate you."

[majorinyri]

She drinks half of it in a gulp before setting the glass in the grass and rolling to stare at him. "You liar."

"I never lie."

But he looks at her sideways and grins a little lopsidedly.

"Much."

Inyri reaches out and taps the side of his grin with her finger before leaning forward to kiss him quickly. "And such a horrible liar too."

He manages to shrug (still smiling) and shifts onto his side to face her properly.

"But that's okay, because it's my relentless honesty that you love so much."

[majorinyri]

"Oh yes," She murmurs, walking her fingers up his arm. "That's what I love."

"Yup," he agrees, and his smile turns into a slight smirk. "Among other things."
