It's summer, or at least it ought to be. Only, you see, Coruscant doesn't really get summer. Coruscant doesn't get much of anything when it comes to weather, and sometimes that's okay (because who really wants a temperamental planet all the time?) and sometimes it's less okay

Wes keeps this up for a full two seconds, then sticks out his tongue and sips his drink.

"Hello," she said in a womanly voice that did not fit the deathly visage," I win."

"You do," Wes agrees, and sighs as if this is truly a great loss. "Five gold stars."

He eyes her more curiously.

"I'm pretty sure I've never seen you before, and I'm not that famous around here."

Rem's grin grew, "I am a Shinigami, I can see the names and lifespans of humans."

"Like a HUD? Or, like--" He waves a hand above his own head. "Sorta hoverin' there?"
