"Are you all right?" asked a girl who was dressed in a yellow uniform.

"Yes and no," he answers honestly.

"What happened if you don't mind me asking?"

Seras looked very worried.

"The woods happened. Running happened."

Hopefully, she won't ask about his outfit. That is not as easy to explain.

"Demon bunnies?" she asked, although they usually didn't use handcuffs and orange jump suites.

She fished around in the pockets of her uniform. Why, she would need handcuffs is beyond me, it's not like she was going to capture any of the FREAKS she was hunting. She produced a key, let's just hope it works.

He looks horrified.

"Demon -- what?"

Demon bunnies. Why is that ringing a bell in his head?

He glances back toward the woods and suddenly jumps.

"... am I in Milliways?"

"you didn't know ?" she asked, "Let's see if this works."

She put the key in the appropriate slot on the handcuffs and turned...

How the key worked is beyond him, but he's very relieved.

"You need a bath," she said suddenly, "Right, and a change of clothes. Why are you that bloody jump suite?"

Seras smiled warmly. He may notice a set of fangs, if he's paying attention.

Seras looked around.

"Let's go inside," she said.

"Okay," he says, "but once we get in there, I'm going to run screaming for my old room and a shower."

He means that. There will be screaming of "GET IT OFF OF ME!"
