He'd noticed the heavy bag outside before, but till now it never tempted him. But then, till now Cyrus O'Dell wasn't wearing the body of a heavyweight champion. So how could he resist.
He woke up energized, feeling more vital, more alive, than he had in a long time. No. Feeling more alive than he ever did, even when he was young. He took a long jog and felt only a little winded. He got a pair of gloves from the Bar (and somehow it didn't seem at all odd she was a giant wooden robot), and came back to work the bag. It felt amazing. He not only had Jack Dempsey's physique but his muscle memory as well. Cyrus doubted he could actually box against an opponent, lacking training and any of the tolerance for pain a boxer needs to make it. But he could punch.
And as he did, he thought. He thought about what Optimus Prime has said about reconfigurations and new beginnings. The vidscreen said it was for three days. But on Cybertron, such things were meant to be permanent. Was there any reason that Cyrus needed to go back to being Cyrus? Could he make the magic last a while longer? Maybe, he wondered, this was what was supposed to happen in the afterlife, and he was supposed to be reborn in some fashion. Maybe it was time to start over, while still being Cyrus O'Dell as well?
A heavy question, but not so heavy that Cyrus couldn't work the bag as he thought. Not so heavy that he would object to people stopping to chat.
[ooc: slowtime for work and to run out and buy Grant Morrison comics likely]
