"Will." Oh, right, the Devil.

Dressed soberly, and acting very... human?

He startles and clutches the cross at his neck and sees her,

"Forgive me, for a second thought ye were Kate with yer dark 'air."

Then he winces and leans back on the couch as the aches from the movement settle in.

"What happened, Will?" She does not move closer, no matter how much she wants to.

"Kate's in trouble, got sent to a warzone to be out o'the way. I'm alive."

In a lot of pain and without Kate but alive.

Lamia's sitting nearby with a daiquiri, and lounging. Nothing new there.

Her dark hair draws his eye and a memory of Kate's hair swirling around her reminds him that she's not here.

So he shifts and bumps his healing shoulder against the couch and bites back on a curse.

She turns, blinking at the pained face.

"Are you all right?"

"Just 'ealin', milady, forgive me if I disturbed ye."

He gives a small and painful sitting bow.

The front door opened, and there was a girl running in.

"Can't catch meeee! You're it!" She yelled back, and then skidded to a halt and fell over as she realized where she was. Oh it's that weird place again.

When the little girl runs in, he stands up carefully and kneels down beside her,

"Lass, are ye safe?"

She froze, and then blinked at him.

"I think so?" Not supposed to talk to strangers randomly... but it's an older boy. Hmmm...

He ends up resting a bit on the floor, there's a bandage peeking out from under his shirt,

"Didna mean to scare ye, just wished to check was all. I'm Will Scarlett."

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy approaches, from the front, making sure not to make the poor guy jump.

"Hey." he says gently, sitting nearby.

"Eve, Guppy."

Will still looks pale but the chicken soup and hot chocolate are doing some good.

"How are you feeling?" Guppy doesn't row him for getting up, even if he doesn't approve.

"Tired but feels good to be out o'there for a time."
