This is somewhat puzzling to Pomona. She was not aware there were nymphs other than herself and Lethe, and so she alters her course towards the singing lady, nervously hanging back from actually saying hello.
Giselle is far from a nymph, although if you were to ask, she'd say they are very nice people and that she sometimes used to see them on the lake that borders the Valley of Contentment.
She's not aware of company yet. So she continues to sing:
"Before two can become one, there's something you must do..."
And then it's back to singing: "For lips are the only things that touch. So to spend a life in endless bliss just find who you love through true love's kiss."
Her fingers-twisting grows more rapid, agitated, voice growing louder as she speaks. "It is-"
She cannot explain it, that love is frightening and men more so, that her garden is peaceful and calm and her love she has of it- and all gardens, truly- is gentle and strong.

Giselle claps and smiles. "Kiss!"
And then it's back to singing: "For lips are the only things that touch. So to spend a life in endless bliss just find who you love through true love's kiss."

This is not really her sort of song, and she steps backwards slightly, uncertain of what to do or say now.

"Have you found him?"

"Found...?"

After all, wasn't that exactly what she had been singing about a moment ago?

GASP!
Sincerely, "I am so, so sorry to heart that."

A quick glance towards the trees, for support. "I do not wish to have one."

"Why would you say such a thing?"

"Why?"

Instead, she tries, "I do not need it."
