"Hullo there," a young man says, glancing towards the singing/babbling girl.

"What're you trying to sing, exactly?"

"Frizzlefrat!"

She digs in her pockets and offers him a stale and slightly chewed on gram cracker.

James raises an eyebrow at that, but politely takes the ... rather disgusting graham cracker.

"Thank you," he says. "So, 'frizzlefrat', huh? Sounds ... interesting."

She tilts her head at him and then attempts a headstand. And, of course, fails misrably. Falling over, oops.

"Whoa, hey - watch out," he warns, stooping (he's a lot bigger than he used to be) to catch the little girl.

"You've got to be careful, you know."

She does not seem to care about being careful. She stands up and begins to spinspinspinspin around! AROUNDANDAROUNDANDAROUND!

Whoa, dizzy.

He just stares. Kind of amazed-like, but also confused.

Was he anything like this as a toddler? He really hopes not.

She stumbles and falls over.

She's doing really good at the falling over thing isn't she?

Talent.

Yes, she is. And James finds that his hands are more or less hovering over her much smaller frame in order to keep her from really hurting herself.

Yeeah. He didn't really intend to sign up for babysitter.

She grabs his hand and pulls him towards outside. There's fun stuff out there!

"Uh - all right," he says, easily enough, letting himself be led. "You want to go outside? What's outside?"

There are trees outside! And water! And other good things!

Once they're outside, Boo drops his hand and starts running toward the water. Water is fun!

Water is fun - but only if they know how to play in it. Because drowning? Not so much fun.

"Hey, kid, where's your mum or dad?" he asks, suddenly realizing that this escaping to the Great Outdoors might not have been Parent Approved.

Boo ignores him. He is, after all, pretty close to being an adult. And adults, even in their helpfulness in providing sippy cups, ask a lot of useless questions.

She goes to the edge of the lake, sticks her feet (sandals included) into the water and splashes about.

He watches from where he is, arms crossed. He hadn't exactly been expecting an answer anyway.

Boo continues to play, squeal and giggle in the water. She's having lots and lots of fun in the pretty water!
