Brooding does not suit Sir Nicholas. When he enters the bar from the room he has been using it is to a sight which he has not had since the time portal deposited him here. The door is visible, and there is no pause before he places on hand on the handle and pulls.
Peter and Virginia are shielded by Banner, who then staggers off. Cleo walks through a door she has created. Enrico demands that Carlos teach his children. Sir Richard and Lady Susan stand watching the sunset.
"So everything has been restored?"
"Perhaps. But I fear the creation which has been restored is not the same as the one that would have been."
"We gave Rojhaz back to the future..."
"We also gave them Fury."
And with that the orange/yellow/white of the time portal once again sweeps across Sir Nicholas' vision, although he is not pulled into it. When it clears again the vision is as alien to his eyes as the witchbreed girl called Penny; a gleaming room of metal and lights, with two men standing frozen over an empty gurney.
Rojhaz hangs in the air, at the height of Sir Nicholas' shoulder, ready to be once again carried when Fury is ready to exit.
