Yeah, it's not the kitchen, and these are not rats. However, they will do. Amongst things, you have a number of gray aliens coming in from outside, tossing away hardhats...presumably from some sort of work site. Three out of the four were going to a table. This one, Crypto-176, was headed for the bar when he spotted the Revenant. Since this was the mercenary Crypto, his first question was...

"Low-profile power-armor?"

"No, just armor armor."

His first thought on seeing the alien is I sure hope Tyler's friend Cecil never comes here.

The little gray being arches what SHOULD be an eyebrow and replies...

"Armor armor? No reinforced alloy-lacing or embedded shield-emitters? Ya don't look like the mind-taker type, fella. Whacha' gonna do when the fuzz gets you?"

One Jack Nickolsonesque-sounding alien who finds regular armor to be...lacking.

"I've never heard the term 'mind-taker'. And I try not to get in fights with law-enforcement if I can avoid it. We've got the same goal... more or less, so it's a waste of energy."

There's a sound system. It plays a good selection of music- Whistler was fussy about that.

There's also a tinny-sounding recording that suddenly starts playing, first the reversed THX sound, then:

"-roar and a thunder men had never heard
Like the screaming sound of a big war bird.
Up in the sky, a man in a plane-"

Oh, and the tinny noise? Seems to be coming from the five foot tall yellow-and-chrome robot that's just approached the Bar.

The music catches Revenant's ear; he always did find that song amusing. Kind of conflicts with Django Reinhardt on the loudspeakers, though. Where's it coming... from...

"All right, that was unexpected," murmurs the vigilante.

"Whoops! Sorry." The robot's own voice is more than a little crackly-sounding, but the Snoopy music cuts off. "I forgot I was listening. Hope it wasn't a problem for you?"

"Not at all! I like that song, actually."

Now, what's a tactful way to put this kind of thing?
