On the specials board, the words 50% off drinks if you can PROVE your given name is Teresa appear.

Stark points at the board.

"What is this Dream Shake?" he asks.

"Teresa's Dream Shake contains Kahlua, Tequila Rose, milk and ice." George explains with a welcoming smile. "It's somewhat like an alcoholic strawberry milkshare.."

"Is the milk more appetizing after it has been shaken?" Stark asks. Oh, silly Banik.

[collects_ears]

George chuckles, remembering when he would have asked such a question himself.

"I take it they don't have milkshakes from where you come from either.."

[mysideyourside]

"No," Stark says. "We do not have this... strawberry, either."

[collects_ears]

"Well then sirrah, p'rhaps it's best that we begin your education - what do you say?"

[mysideyourside]

"I say, say... yes," Stark says. A pause. "You are not human?"

[collects_ears]

He grins.

"Oh I am most certainly human and I promise you, when I arrived here nearly all of the things here were new to me as well."

"You are human but... I do not under, understand," Stark says. "Were you from a past time?"

[collects_ears]

"Complicated question that - but I'll answer as best as I'm able. I do come from a past time, but also a different world than many folk who visit the bar come from, near as I can tell anyway. I come from a land called Tortall." he explains.

"How 'bout you?"

"I am from far in the stars," Stark says. "I am Stark, a Banik."

"Any stars in particular?"

[mysideyourside]

"My planet is not of consequence. We are a race of, of slaves," Stark says.

"Well Master Stark, I'm George Cooper and I'm happy to make your acquaintance." he extends a hand, wondering if the fellow will know what a handshake is.

"I tend bar here, as you may have noticed. And if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them for you."

Stark laughs a little at being called 'Master', but shakes George's hand. "You may regret making that offer," he says. "But I shall not bombard you with questions at our first meeting."

"Bombard away, I'm not going anywhere for the moment." George says with a chuckle.

"I can't promise I'll have all the answers you seek - I'm a bartender not a prophet - but I'll give it my best."
