The bar caught Larry before work, for a change; once he realizes where he is, he makes his way over to Bar and asks for some coffee. When it pops up, it's accompanied by a request that he pinch-hit on the bartending front again

"Coke with cherries?"

Asks the redhead settling on a stool.

[snap_time]

"Coming right up."
That's an easy one, all told, and Ginny's got her drink in fairly short order. "There you go. Hi. I'm Larry."

Ginny smiles then sips it.

"Thank you, I'm Ginny."

[snap_time]

"Nice to meet you. You been here long?"
Good sort of question to ask, in a bar like this.

Ginny nods. "Almost four years. What about your self?"

[snap_time]

"Close to a year by the bar's time, I think. Only a few months at home, though."
It's complicated.

[missginnytonic]

"Yes, I understand that, it's been longer here then in home time."

[snap_time]

"Probably just another quirk of the place." As long as it doesn't put him in that ridiculous outfit from Halloween again.
"Where're you from?"

[missginnytonic]

"Near London England your self? There are many quirks here."

[snap_time]

"I'm from Brooklyn." He has to stop himself from saying 'at the moment,' since his housing situation is actually not in flux, for once. "2007."

[missginnytonic]

"It is 1999, here. Well there I guess."

[snap_time]

Larry nods. "I'm not sure if this place actually bothers with matching anyone's home calendar. Probably just makes it up as it goes along."
Seems to work for everything else, anyway, so why not the passage of time?

"That would work for me. I don't think there is a rhyme or reason."
