Chuck pushes the door open to call for Casey and stops. He was pretty sure he was walking into the projection room of the Buy More and the last time he checked, there hadn't been a bar there. Chuck looks behind him and then back in front at the bar where he had expected to see a couch and projector screen

There's a man on a couch with a sketchbook on his lap. "Looking for someone?"

Chuck smiles and helps himself to a seat by the man. "Well, not anymore. Was looking for my friends but, this wasn't exactly where I was expecting to be looking for them. If you get what I mean."

[ooc: EEE SEXAY LORNE! *cough* I mean hi.]

"First time?" Lorne asks with a smile.

Chuck makes a face, "That obvious I guess. But then, I suppose its pretty easy to pick out the newcomers to the bar that has defied my previous understanding of the universe."

[ooc: *pouncinates Lorne and Lorne!Mun]

"We've all been through it," Lorne says, trying to be supportive before...

"Seen the observation window yet?" He gestures behind him to where the actual End can be seen.

[ooc: *gives you the nekkid!icon for the pouncination*]

"Um No. I turned that down. I think its a bit much to be confronted with all at the first time don't you think?"

Chuck bounces his knees a bit nervously before sticking out his hand, "Chuck Bartowski."

[ooc: TEASE!! INSUFFERABLE TEASE! oh but we love it so...]

Lorne makes a noise that could indicate he thinks Chuck is being a wuss about it. "I looked my first time."

He shakes Chuck's hand. "Major Evan Lorne."

[ooc: YES! YES WE ARE!]

"Oh don't even," Chuck replies. "It's the end of the... everything! I do believe that that is allowed to be on the list of things I can be very un-manly to. In fact, right now, I'm quite okay with not seeing the end of everything. At least until I've had one or twelve more drinks. Give or take."

Lorne laughs just a little. "I take it you've already had your free first one then?"

[ooc: Awww...diddums. I swear this is our last one.]

Chuck nods, "I had it with Mike who is... Somewhere right now." Chuck doesn't attempt to find him.

"I can offer to buy a round if you'll tell me your story on how you got here. And any useful information you may have."

[ooc: aww precious we wants it we does *makes grabby hands*]

"Sure," Lorne says. "It's not a very exciting story, but I can give you a rundown of what I've learned about the Bar so far."

[intersectchuck]

"See your the second or third person I know who has said "The Bar" in all caps. I'm beginning to worry. Is it alive? I mean, is this like that whole idea where our universe is like in the belly of some slug or something?"

Chuck begins to wonder how to get a hold of a waiter or a bartender or someone who can get him alcohol.

"You can tell when I'm speaking in capital letters?" He shakes his head. "Never mind. Yeah, she's alive. You haven't ordered from the Bar herself yet, have you?"

He flags down a passing waitrat, so Chuck can get that drink if he wants.

"Yeah of course, its the stress you place on the first syllable of the letter as opposed to using the normal stress patterns."

Chuck eagerly orders himself whatever is on the house (he's in a mood) and a thing of fries. He really feels like a good bit of salt should help.

"You want anything major?"

"I'll have another Mac & Jack," Lorne says, giving the waitrat a scratch behind her ears before she scurries off.

"So, you know the Bar's alive...or, well, sentient anyway. Anything else you're curious about? Anybody told you the rules yet?"

"There are rules? Other than the usual standard of don't get into a fight and break things?"
