In addition to
Demeter's news, there had been a
note, also, about Eirene being safe, but not back yet.
This, however, is worrying to Teja; as his dear friend has clearly suffered some evil, and none would tell him what it was, his experience, formed by the cruel mores of wartime, supplies some dire scenarios.
In addition, Teja is worried about the continued absence of both Asher and Tonio; as if this place would take away those that have become dear to him, if it could. It cannot take Yrael, or can it?
In an case, that makes for a morning's very prolonged weapons practice, to take out his worries on some wooden targets, or Valentinian the sparring
droid which Atton Rand has made (or rather downgraded) for Teja. Teja practices archery with the composite bow; he throws the throwing darts he has made, modelled on those the mute girl uses; he fences with the Gothic longsword, the gladius, and the lighter rapier of the future; and he swings his axe with such mighty power at the droid, he needs to turn up the setting soon so he won't damage the thing, after all.
Whatever the sparring ground outside by the lake has to offer, Teja does try it, today -- well, he might not be considering off his armour to train in unarmed combat, but all else.
Who is to say what he will need, soon, in aid of a friend in danger, or in revenge for a friend's injury?
[[OOC: The Clark thread should be millitimed to happen after all the others, as Teja is getting answers on that one!]]
