Larry's somewhat relieved his clothes don't change when he comes through the door this time. He would've dealt if they had, of course (not much else to do about it, around here)... but still.
He heads for Bar and asks for some hot chocolate. The drink's slow in coming, and when it pops up, it's accompanied by a napkin: Any chance you could step back here and run things for a few hours?
"...................I'm a little out of practice." And by a little, he means a lot; he hasn't had a bartending job in years.
That's all right. There's a book if you need instructions for anything.
...On the other hand, he enjoyed the bartending jobs about the most of anything he did before the museum came along. "All right. Let me finish this first."
It's a not-so-subtle ploy to buy time for considering that pesky Specials board. But it works, sort of, and when he heads around back, he writes:
Specials:
Half off anything I remember how to make.
"Happy hour's on, folks."
