The whole throwback thing with the gears and shiny fixtures and all had been interesting when Hellboy came down one day and discovered them. The scene had reminded him a bit of his father's study. Then he started to feel like he did when in his father's study, like he was about to break something, and he left back upstairs to wait the situation out.
This made him more antsy and stir crazy then he was before but tonight the door has returned.
So now all he has to do is wait for his bait and his back up and he'll be on his way back to doing what he likes best, fighting monsters.
He's all prepared too. With a thick length of rope, a large fluffy beach towel and a lit cigar, sitting at a table near the front door.
