Asher is in rather better spirits today as he walks into the bar, book in hand. But paperwork does get so very tiresome, so he's escaped from the Circus for a while.
He takes a seat at a table in a shadowed corner, feet crossed at the ankles and resting on one of the empty chairs at his table. For now, he reads, but he'd be glad of any company.

Still, he waits a while until he gives in and walks over.
"My Asher," he says, softly, with an affectionate look he cannot hide.

"How are you this evening? Well, I hope?"

Pause.
"May I sit with you? Share your shadow?"

"Of course," he says, "You need not even ask."

"Excuse me, but is your name Asher?"
Reply
"Yes? How may I help you?" He asks, in his softly-accented English.
[ooc: that's a point the mun never considered...Bar translates everyone's speech into the native language of the listener...so would Asher still have a French accent?]

"Eirene, Teja's sister-not-by-blood."
Also, a goddess, but she won't mention that yet.
[ooc: Yes on French accent? Eirene learned English a long time ago, and only uses Attic Greek with family.]

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Eirene. Please, be seated."
