Marian is a little singularly focused these days.

You would be, too, if you were waiting to see whether you were getting married to the wrong man or not tomorrow. Especially when tomorrow in your world seems possibly weeks away in Milliways.

As such tonight Marian is sitting out on the dock with a bright modern lantern. She'd finished her tea and her book of poetry, but found she could not sleep. After trying in vain, she went for a walk by the shore. She ended up on the dock, with her lap full of sails, mending tears the winter winds have brought them.

She and the night and the sails would love company.
