Tab?
Tab. There was a sign saying that tabs needed to be paid up and glancing up at the board made Kaplan's stoamch quite literally bottom out. Of course going into the Hive they had left all sort of IDs, credit cards, and the like back at their HQ within Umbrella so..yeah. No way to pay the tab.
And after working on the mini computers for the Hive trip, then working on building Kaya..he probably owed his soul, first born child, and every limb on his body to Bar by now. Needless to say Chad felt like he was going to be sick.
"Bar?" he asked weakly, "Can I have a..ah..glass of water?" For water was free and that was all he could afford at the moment.
Then, suddenly, the ammount balanced out to zero which caused the man to take a heavy seat upon the closest barstool. "Okay that wasn't funny, Bar. What did you just do?" When there was no note or anthing he frowned just staring up at the sign.
Anyone care to poke the man?
