Careful observers may notice a few differences in Melou when he enters the bar tonight. He hasn't aged any more and he still looks worn out, but there's a slight limp now, and his sword is missing.
It may also be worth noting that for those who know him well enough to tell, he appears... defeated. There's no fight in him left as he hovers near the door for several minutes before heading over to the fire and crouching down in front of it.
He'll take what warmth he can get, for what little time he'll have it.
