Momiji's back in the Bar, tonight, sprawled out on the floor in front of the fire. His legs are kicked up a little, showing off his stockinged feet, but his attention is focused on the long sheets of paper set out right before his face

The turian would probably be frightening to the tiny rabbit boy. Garrus was still new, and still the only turian among a sea of mostly humans. The human here, then, was doing something that caught his eye - coloring bright flowers. He'd never been an expert on human behavior, but he wasn't too dim not to notice that Momiji was at least a little immature.

It'd probably unnerve the rabbit to know he was being observed carefully at this very moment.

But, hey, he's an immature, observant rabbit, so it doesn't take him long to get the feel of eyes resting on his back...and, eventually, he flips over a little, looking around and catching sight of the turian.

"...Woah!"

Garrus took that in stride, just letting his arms lay loose at his side.

"....Greetings." He said to Momiji. It was weird to think about, but probably very likely that he'd never seen a turian before. He have to keep that in mind while talking.

"Oh. Er. Hi." The boy colored dramatically as the turian replied, covering his mouth bashfully and shaking his head.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to jump! ...Are you an alien?"

"Um. Well. Yes." He was mildly taken aback at the blunt term, but it was both a child and a child from an older earth. Apparently they were both feeling just as awkward right now.

"Perhaps this will help - what year was it on Earth when you got here?" Garrus had picked a few things up in C-sec, namely that the humans became a player in the galaxy somewhere around 2140.

"Uhm...it's a couple of years after 2000." Momiji supplies helpfully. Somehow, he suspects that Garrus won't need very much specificity - if he's an alien, he's probably from the future.
