So, she's at the Bar, drinking tequila and attempting to wind down.

"Well, hey there," he grins broadly.

He gets a smile.

"Hey yourself."

"I'd offer to buy you a drink, but it seems you've got that under control already," Max grins as he looks her up and down.

Not as fit as she used to be, not with a kid and a business to run, but given that the weight just settles around her hips and breasts, no one really complains. Besides, she'd never let herself get out of shape.

"Had a long day, I'm afraid."

"This seat taken?" a quiet male voice asks from her left.

"Rennes! No, no in the slightest."

Rennes sits down on the stool next to her, placing a half-empty glass of scotch on the bartop. "Haven't seen you around lately," he comments.

Normally he wasn't one for forming attachments with people, but something about this place seemed to be getting under his skin.
