Good music? Even better.

So when she hears music Hedwig is there, umbrella-drink in hand, to watch the performance.

"Hey babes." Skwisgaar said, spotting her in the smallish crowd, "What's is you being thinks about it?"

Ego? Skwisgaar? Nooo, what makes you think that?

"Better than a Boy Scout Jamboree," she says. "Very... powerful. I like it."

There was a smug little smile at that, nodding once, "Ja." he shrugged then, changing subjects willy-nilly because he was like that, "Can I buys you a drink?"

He has said the magic words. She smiles.

"I'd love a drink. The drinks here are so... numerous."

He nodded at that, smiling, "Ja, everiesthing you can thinks of, and somes stuff you's is never even have hear on."

He shrugged then, "What's is you like?"

"Surprise me," she says. "I've had vodka, and several kinds of beer, and a thing that was like an alcoholic candy bar in a glass, and... whatever this is," nodding toward the glass with the umbrella, "some kind of punch maybe. I'm not picky at all."

He nodded, "Hokay, how's about a melonsade?"

The rat that he'd told earlier to keep the drinks coming, was indeed doing just that. He twisted the cap off one of the bottles and handed it over.

It was ... well, hard melonade, which was like lemonade, only with melon instead of citrus, and sneakily alcoholic, the kind that didn't hit until about a half hour later.

She finishes off her umbrella drink, handing the empty glass to the rat before taking the bottle she is offered.

"I've never had one of these before--are they what you usually have?"

He shrugged, "Somes of de times I gets a mullmead, Toki likes it and is actually pretty good, and somestime justs get a beer or somkindsofthing like dat."

Another shrug, "But I likes melonsade, ja, even tho is kinds of like a candiesdrink."

"I've never met a drink I didn't like. It's rude to not like them. They are there, they want to be drunk and enjoyed, and so you have to. You wouldn't want them to feel left out, would you?"

She takes a sip from the bottle.

That actually made sense to Skwisgaar, possibly Pickles had explained this same thing at one point, or he just made the connection in his head for obvious reasons.

He nodded, "Ja! Dat's is a lot of makesense." He clinked her bottle with his own, "Cheer on dat."

"I do like it. I'm not just saying that to be polite, either. It's good."

He shrugged, "Tokis and dis other guy who's got no arms but is still a terrifics athlete makes it up I think. Anyway dey's is was got reeeeally drunk froms it one night, it was pretty amuse to watch tho."

"Is there a lot of drinking that goes on here? I'd hate to be the only one, and get thrown out for being scandalous or something. I've been thrown out of places before."

He shrugged, "I hasn't ever seens anybody get throws out. Sometimes if dere's is like a fight or somethings de securities come in and people is get lock up for a while."

There was an almost too-toothy smile then, "And scandals is just fine." A pause, "Well, no nakeds in de bar, dat's is why dey gots an upstairs!"
