With the big, heavy book in hand, along with his drum sticks, Pickles immediately went to the bar and asked for her to magic up a drum kit suitable for playing. "G'on ahead and get set up," Said the drummer to the guitarists, "I'll be over in a second."

Toki nodded to the drummer and went to fetch his guitar and amp, which he had stashed away beside the trilobite tank.
"So we sets up by de pianos, dat's will gives us room to plays so we don't gets run over by peoples" Toki suggested, hoisting his amp and guitar that direction.

Skwisgaar nodded, "Ja, and dat way nobodies is complain if we takes up a space." Not that this had ever happened before, as far as he knew. He headed over, pouting just for a moment at the fact that there were no roadies there to move tables out of the way.

They were just little tables however, so he managed just fine on his own, going to retrieve an amp for himself as well, telling a waitrat to get the drinks and keep them coming.

Pickles hauled the kit that Bar gave to him into place, piece by piece, setting the book down on the stool. The set up didn't take long, and soon, he had the book in his lap and flipped to a page. "Musically Contageous..." He muttered, looking over the beat, "Dudes, three four time, drop C, think you can handle that?" He looked up to Toki and Skwisgaar, one pierced brow raised.

He knew they could. He set the book aside, still open to the page, muttering out the beat changes and downbeats, before nodding and starting into it.

Toki grinned, noticing that Teja had come to listen, and plugged in his amp. "Drop c's.. so usual sounds?" He asked Skwisgaar, but before he could get an answer, he got Pickles' cue, and started playing the rhythm part along with the drums.

The song was starting to hold its own, a catchy beat and rhythm, perfect to hum along to. Fun and frantic, yet easily memorable.

Skwisgaar had nodded at the redhead's question, "Ja, dat's is a thing we's is are doing alls of de time."

There was a grin at the brunette, brow arching as he nodded once, finally setting in to playing himself, it really was catchy at that, it'd be good for a jingle if they ever had to do another one of those.

He nodded a greeting to Teja himself, tilting his head a moment later, brow creasing in something like concentration as he started toying with the music, as he was prone to doing, nothing too flourishy and show-offish just yet, but it would get there once he was more comfortable.

Pickles continued to play, not straying from the beat in the book. It was actually rather intricate in its subtle changes for him, and that was just the kind of challenge he needed. He started getting into it.

Wow, this song was pretty damn good, in truth. He gave a cue to Skwisgaar to pick up a strong melody here.

The energy around the three musicians was different now, for those who would see it. It was warm and inviting, almost dangerously so. The light in the bar almost seemed to tilt and focus on them without help, making things temporarily darker around the edges of the stage, and brighter on it.

The Norwegian started actually getting into it, nodding his head to the beat, hair pouring into his face as he played, his guitar seeming to say 'come and sing, come and sing, come to play, come to play, here we are, here we are!'

There was a feeling to it that made one wish that they were up there, with them, helping along.

Skwisgaar tossed his head to flip his hair out of his face, he was enjoying himself with this, the melody was steady, looping, not enough to make the listener dizzy, but enough to make them itch, that bone-deep need to sing along, to dance, to do something.

And Skwisgaar? Didn't even realize it, he was just playing what felt right, adding flare now and again, smirking and browarching at Toki, it wasn't a challenge, not really, it was all in fun.

Pickles noticed the movement of the blond and mentally groaned. Oh boy, here they go with the unspoken daring. He wasn't exactly annoyed by it, but he knew how it'd end in the long run. And he was running out of tissue papers to jam into his ears at night to muffle them out.

And into the downbeat to let the guitarists pick up a good duel.

Somewhere in the bar, a lightbulb flickered off momentarily to shroud Pickles in shadow.

But that put the attention on the guitarists, the brunette playing out a jarring solo of the guitar duel, raw, edgy, perfectly able to be followed, however, eying Skwisgaar with a smirk as he played, knowing that the blond would pick up seamlessly after him to play in response.

This song, structured normally, would give the guitarists two volleys a piece before bringing the duel together into a duet instead.

The blonde hadn't noticed the change in light, mostly because he had far more important things to do.

Things like leering, just a little, at the brunette and replying in kind, taking what Toki had played and flipping it on its ear, not exactly backwards, not exactly inside out, but some, logical-only-to-him combination of the two.

It was having to keep up with both of them when the did this without actually overshadowing them that was the tricky part.

He kept to the rhythm, the emotion of the song having gone from 'don't you wanna' to 'do it now!' somewhere between the second volley of the guitarists' duel.

Toki took the time during Skwisgaar's two solos to drink down a hard melonade before they started into the duet, combining both of their solos into one lovely tune that actually worked to propel the song into an uncharted territory of catchy-ness.

The song was almost over, and Toki was windmilling his hair by the end of it, having fully gotten into the groove of the music.

Skwisgaar was doing the same at that point, grinning ear to ear, being typically Skwisgaar and speeding through his part before looping back to catch up and play it again at normal speed.

The light had flickered back on, and Pickles cued the guitarists that the end of the song was in the next measure.

The energy of the song lingered in the air, touching all that had heard it.

And with the end of the measure, the song was done.
