"So we sets up by de pianos, dat's will gives us room to plays so we don't gets run over by peoples" Toki suggested, hoisting his amp and guitar that direction.

They were just little tables however, so he managed just fine on his own, going to retrieve an amp for himself as well, telling a waitrat to get the drinks and keep them coming.

He knew they could. He set the book aside, still open to the page, muttering out the beat changes and downbeats, before nodding and starting into it.

The song was starting to hold its own, a catchy beat and rhythm, perfect to hum along to. Fun and frantic, yet easily memorable.

There was a grin at the brunette, brow arching as he nodded once, finally setting in to playing himself, it really was catchy at that, it'd be good for a jingle if they ever had to do another one of those.
He nodded a greeting to Teja himself, tilting his head a moment later, brow creasing in something like concentration as he started toying with the music, as he was prone to doing, nothing too flourishy and show-offish just yet, but it would get there once he was more comfortable.

This song, structured normally, would give the guitarists two volleys a piece before bringing the duel together into a duet instead.

Things like leering, just a little, at the brunette and replying in kind, taking what Toki had played and flipping it on its ear, not exactly backwards, not exactly inside out, but some, logical-only-to-him combination of the two.

He kept to the rhythm, the emotion of the song having gone from 'don't you wanna' to 'do it now!' somewhere between the second volley of the guitarists' duel.

The song was almost over, and Toki was windmilling his hair by the end of it, having fully gotten into the groove of the music.

The energy of the song lingered in the air, touching all that had heard it.
And with the end of the measure, the song was done.
