At first glance Ginny notices the cloak, It's beauty and the detail. Stepping closer to see it she notices the magic in the air. She stops closer to compliment on the cloak. Not looking up to the woman to notice her hair.
Mia happens to notice Medusa on her way to a fireside couch to cuddle with a gorgon of a different sort. The patchwork one tonight that happens to be wearing a thimble as a hat.
She looks at the cloak for a moment and says, "I wish I could do that."
Bakura's not an insomniac, but he keeps much the same hours as one. His stomach, however, tends to drive him downstairs every few hours, and he curls up on a chair not too far away from the fireplace with his meal as often as not. Today, he has a small round loaf of melon-bread, a bottle of iced tea, and a stick of string cheese. He might be good at cooking, but that doesn't mean he eats healthily. It's the wings, that catch his attention - he's not close enough to see the snakes for what they are, and his magic sensitivity is only on the subconscious level, at least at this point in his life. He doesn't stare - that would be rude - but he does watch, out of the corner of his eye. He's pretty sure they're real, not a fancy cosplay, and he wonders what she is.
[Well, as it's half-past midnight and more or less bedtime here, slowtime sounds wonderful. ¬¬;;]
Well, it depends how sophisticated they are, of course. Back home, Kaiba Corp's recently developed holograms so realistic they can send people mad with the horrors they can show people... anything's possible, really. He's pretty sure they're not holograms, though. There's always a high-pitched buzzing noise, when they're around, more noticeable in its lack than its presence.

She looks at the cloak for a moment and says, "I wish I could do that."
But she doubts she even has the time.

Teaching classes + paperwork + engagement parties + wedding planning = STRESS!
"Do you mind?" she asks, gesturing to a free spot on the couch with the arm not cuddling the gorgon doll.

Being as she is a rather small person, and entirely down one end.

Edmund spots her, and veers towards her, wine and book in hand.
"May I join you? Would I be intruding?"
Reply
"You may, and you aren't. Edmund. How have you been?"
She's no longer giggling, tipsy, bright-eyed...now she just looks tired.

Certainly very real. Fake wings wouldn't shift and change position slightly, as one would a limb or a hand...
Would they?
