Ikki's discovered the existance of the outside through another door in the bar. Nobody pointed it out to him and he found it all by himself - it's something stupid to feel achievement over, but after the last time he was here, he'll take what he can get.
Kuu's enjoying the new place, flying all around and in the trees, collecting twigs that he probably intends to try to thread through Ikki's hair later. Ikki's just wandering, making a mental map of the place and converting it in his head to various roads and possibilities that could be used.
Maybe it's the fact he's concentrating a lot (although many would object that it's not possible), or maybe it's the fact he's not exactly expecting danger to come from below - but before you can even utter 'what's up, doc?', Ikki's surrounded by a circle of demonic bunnies a little ways into the woods.
Just as he wasn't told about the outside, he wasn't warned about them either, so he just blinks and thinks it's kind of weird. "Uh," he says, "Hi."
Of course, they don't respond, as they can't exactly talk. They can, however, bear their teeth - as they can and do, with red eyes flashing. Looks like they think they've found a meal.

Wonder how well he'll manage this one. Anyone want to help the overconfident human who's used to letting himself get hit to get out of a situation? That won't exactly work here...
