They had been playing hide and go seek in the castle for hours.
Edan streaked through his parent's bedroom, blonde hair flying wildly, and dove for a closet door, wrenching it open. He immediately stopped, bewildered. "Mommy..." he murmured looking back toward the door to the bedroom.
Sheik caught up to him after a few moments later. "Edan where did you...Oh..." She picks him up and looks into the bar as well.
"Mommy...I didn't do anything I promise..."
"Yes, well, I know...this is where daddy and I would eat dinner sometimes...a long time ago..." she explains, remembering fondly. He still had a rather confused look on his face.
"Let's have some cookies." she says with a laugh, stepping into the bar and settling down on a bar stool. She sits Edan on the bar, his legs dangling off the edge. A plate of chocolate chip cookies and two glasses of milk appears.
