Dib has a problem.

The problem being that, outside of Milliways, all of the data he has collected on the place and the people in it (except for the few little notes he's taken by hand, and it's not like those constitute proof of any kind!) become scrambled, damaged and unreadable

Essex wanders past, and blinks at the child.

He's got a really big head. It makes him frown. Shody experimentation is where the term 'mad scientist' comes from, he's sure.

Dib has been experimented on so many times...

But we're fairly sure the head is natural. Fairly sure.

Dib scowls at his computer, and then glances up.

"Uh, hi." Crankiness is evident in his tone.

"Is your computer malfunctioning?"

It's not fair to ask why his creator was so cruel.

"Yeah," Dib says irritably. "Whenever I leave Milliways, all my data from here becomes corrupted! It's not fair."

Essex chuckles. "What is your data about? Mine survives perfectly."

[bigheadedchild]

"Eveyrthing," Dib says. "All the different people in Milliways, all the different species... I have video records, bioscans, x-rays, and all sorts of things, but outside this place it just... doesn't work."

This is because Dib is ultimately destined to always fail.

Essex nods. "Perhaps you should take some notes on the non-alien aspects? I find that my genetics research is furthered here."

Because he's made of awesome.

"Well, I've been taking some notes in my notebook, and those are jsut fine, but they're not proof. ...And I'm more worried about the aliens," he explains. "I have an invasion to thwart."

"I've found that co-operation with alien species is most often the most beneficial route."

After all, it's what's made him what he is. "Though, they would of course have to have something to offer in return."

"Zim wants to conquer earth, and enslave mankind. Or kill us all, and turn Earth into a parking-complex planet," Dib says flatly.

Although he IS sort of cooperating with Tak. To take down Zim.

"Yes, but think of the long term. Obviously he won't succeed, and in the mean time, you can profit."

Stopping aliens was the superheroes' thing. His was profiting. It all worked out, and everyone went home happy, beside the aliens.

"Nobody else is trying to stop him. Nobody else even thinks he's a threat."

"Then, honestly, how much of a threat can he be? After all, one alien is hardly an invasion."

Especially not one that can be stopped by a single kid.

"He almost rammed Mars into the Earth."

Dib has a LIST.

"Nobody else but my sister even believes that he's an alien."

He shrugs. "I've seen portals opened to the spiraling vortex of Hell. Beside, even if you want to stop him, the easiest way would be to fake an alliance to gain access to his secrets."

"He's too stupid to fall for that."

Strange, but true.

"Besides, I've already promised to vivisect him live on public TV."
