Jamie is looking in bemusement at a small bag of candy.
He raises a hand in greeting when he sees X, though, and hazards, with a cocked eyebrow in the direction of the holiday decorations which haven't come down yet, "Merry Christmas?"
"Nor am I, really," Jamie says, with a shrug, "but Christmas is - well, it's a custom, I reckon. Are you any religion? I don't want to insult you by accident -"
He grins. "And not just because of the claws, either."
Jamie shakes his head, apologetically - almost the same way he had when she mentioned the word 'mutant', if he remembered that conversation well enough to know it. (Which he doesn't.)
"I picked up that much," Jamie says, a little wryly. "I've just never come across a way that someone can make another person, that's all - but, you know, I've only visited ninety or so worlds, what do I know?"

"Hello."

"I went to a party."

He grins. "Was it a good one?"

"I do not know."

"I got a hat."

He has a fur hat! Tucked away with all the rest of his polar regalia.
"Any other Christmas swag?"
Reply
"I had milk."
That's--about it.
X does not really have many gift-giving friends.
Reply
"Do they do Christmas on your world?" he asks, rethinking his earlier assumption. "Or is it just something you've heard about here?"
Reply
"They do. But I am not Christian."
That's the least of it, really.

He grins. "And not just because of the claws, either."
Reply
"No."

"Doctor Sarah Kinney is my creator."
Reply
Doctor Sarah Kinney doesn't sound much like the name of a god. At least, not any god Jamie's come across.
Reply
It seems simple enough to her.
Reply
"Sorry, I don't follow."

Then--
"She is a doctor--a scientist."
Beat.
"She made me."
