Last night was...interesting, to say the least. Today seems to be the same, largely because he can't leave.

If anything, the coffee is delicious.

Not sufficient compensation for the missing door, though.

Steed has left shiny post brandy for Regular!Bond at the bar, but he tips his hat at this other distinguished gentleman.

"Season's greetings to you, sir."

[callitavesper]

"Christmas already," he says with an agitated sigh.

[were_needed]

"Not a fan?" Steed enquires.

[callitavesper]

"I could do without the hustle and bustle."

And the songs. The songs!

"Do you know what you could do with? A good brandy."

Steed has never really noticed anyone not celebrating Christmas.

Booze! James is an alcoholic approves of booze!

"Not my usual drink, but it'll do," he replies.

"Is there anything you'd prefer?"

[callitavesper]

"A vodka martini. Shaken, not stirred."

[were_needed]

Steed fetches him one, and places it on the table.

"John Steed, a pleasure to meet you."

[callitavesper]

"Thank you," he replies, lifting the martini in a salute. "The name's Bond. James Bond."

"Oh, another one!" Steed smiles and sips his drink. "Are you related to the other one here?"

[callitavesper]

That's a first.

"No."

[were_needed]

"Oh, then I beg your pardon. Are you new?"

[callitavesper]

"To here, yes."

[were_needed]

"Then welcome to Milliways. Has anyone shown you around?"

[callitavesper]

"No. But I've found my own way around." Because he's James Bond and therefore resourceful like that.
