Last night was...interesting, to say the least. Today seems to be the same, largely because he can't leave.

If anything, the coffee is delicious.

Not sufficient compensation for the missing door, though.

So he's back again. Sarah had considered just leaving the papers with Bar (or a copy of such). But this suits much better.

"Here," she says as she storms up to him, shoving the documents in his hands. "Proof."

[callitavesper]

"Hello, Mrs. Bond," he says cheerfully, not yet looking at the papers.

[his_sarah_jane]

Sarah quirks an eyebrow.

"Well, that's certainly a change in attitude from the other day."

[callitavesper]

"I had a good night's rest, an excellent cup of coffee..." Maybe he's also just being a jerk. He looks over her papers, quirking an eyebrow of his own. Heaven knows documents can be doctored.

[his_sarah_jane]

They're real. Completely and totally legitimate.

"And that's done all the wonders in the world?" Sarah responds, a tad sarcastic. Clearly, she's having some trust issues.

[callitavesper]

"Naturally." He places the documents on the bar top and sips his coffee. "These documents look remarkably genuine."

[his_sarah_jane]

She looks at him skeptically, if not a little hurt.

"And yet you still don't believe me, do you?"

[callitavesper]

"Documents can be doctored."

It's largely a question of whether he cares at this point, however. Or if he's just humoring her.

[his_sarah_jane]

"Well, they're not. I'm a hundred per-cent sane, Mr Bond. So I'd appreciate it if you'd treat me as such."

[callitavesper]

"Sane. But are you genuine?"

[his_sarah_jane]

A hand curls up into a fist. "Yes!"

Isn't that what these documents bloody well prove?

[callitavesper]

"That's what they all say."

[his_sarah_jane]

"Oh! Oh! You're just as infuriating as he is!"

It's rather clear by her tone of voice who that 'he' is. She stamps her foot and glares at him, wanting nothing more than to wipe that smug smile off his face.

[callitavesper]

"You should find yourself a less infuriating man."

[his_sarah_jane]

That's the thing. She doesn't want a less infuriating man.

"Sadly, that would mean losing all the fun of wiping smug smirks off of his- your- whoever's face."

[callitavesper]

He laughs. Good-naturedly.

"I'd like to see you try."
