Sometime after the Delicate Flowers party (which could and probably will go on all night, for all Mal knows), Mal is descending the staircase to the main bar, pulling off a Santa hat and dusting off as much glitter as possible.
Crap. How is he going to get the door open? He'd meant to ask Mel for use of her security badge to get to Londinum through the bar, but he's not been able to run into her the past few days.
Before he gets all the way to the bar, though -- an Oompa Loompa in glasses.
Well...Might as well ask.
It's vaguely creepy on Mal's part, but the Loompa obliges, letting Mal walk through to Gabriel's study unhindered.
He seems to only have been gone a few moments, but Mal returns through the bar door looking for Kaylee. He'll try the ship next.
