There is a Jedi Master sitting in the Bar. He is reading The Essential Guide to the Force. Why, exactly, is he doing this?

Petra slides into a chair near Dooku.

"Hey you." Cue coy voice and the fact she is looking very very good tonight.

Dooku glances over at Petra, and thinks for a moment. "You look familiar, but I cannot remember your name." He's sure he's run into her before...he just can't recall when.

[petraarkanian]

"You don't remember me?"

Hurt expression.

[countofserenno]

"Blame this place." Pause. "I woke up one day a few months ago without any memory of who I was or where I am."

[petraarkanian]

"So... you don't remember... us?"

Give Petra points for being an actress, her eyes are starting to fill with tears.

[countofserenno]

Dooku looks seriously unimpressed. "Us?" Pause. "From what I know about myself...information that I have no good reason to doubt...there is very little chance that I would be romantically involved with you."

[petraarkanian]

"The point of a secret relationship is that it is a /secret/." Petra looks honest to goodness heart broken. If he sensed her with the force he would even get waves of sadness, she's thinking hard about when Bonzo forgot who she was. "The Jedi would never have approved..."

Which he does. And which leaves him both confused (notably about who this woman is) and irritated (due to the suspicion that his time is being wasted). "What is your name?"

[petraarkanian]

"Laura." The lie rolls easily off her, and at the same time... it is the truth. Her 'official' name is Laura back home. Again, it should ring true to his force senses.

"We decided it would be easier on me if we were caught if you did not know my last name or where I came from."

[countofserenno]

Good grief. That's about all that's on his mind. "Well, whatever I may have decided in a moment of ill judgment...if, in fact, I did decide something like that...is now very much over."

[petraarkanian]

"Very well." Petra stands, looking rather afronted. "I will find that Obi-wan of yours and spill. He'll take that little brat of an apprentice away from you."

[countofserenno]

Dooku rolls his eyes. "To be perfectly frank, Miss Laura, I do not think he will believe you as far as he can throw you, if that much."

[petraarkanian]

"Then he will believe me quite a bit will he not?" Petra raises an eyebrow and turns and leaves, a small smile spreading across her face.

Dooku sighs. Mental note to self...talk to Obi-Wan Kenobi about this.
