Will had a good day, its getting colder but he was able to get in some archery practice and work at the pells.

Now he's sprawled on the couch with some hot chocolate and various pastry goodies.

There's more then enough to share and he found an interesting book on American history in Kate's room, which he's reading in between watching people.

Hot chocolate being the drink of choice these days, Madolyn has a mug as well, with which she makes her way over to the couch, pulling up a chair.

"Hullo, Will. How've you been?"

Madolyn gets beamed at by Will, he's finally gotten most of the color back in his face after being sick and just looks quite happy,

"Quite grand since we last met, returned to Sherwood for 'bout a month, got sick, found meself 'ere an Kate found me."

Madolyn refrains from 'Aww'ing.

"Well, everything did turn out alright, then." She looks pleased by this, and sits down in her chair.

"Oh aye, it did, e'en visited New York. An do believe I've seen ye with bow an arrow, 'ave ye become an archer?"

(OOC: Do you mind small handwaving of him at least noticing her with bow and arrow?)

"Oh, New York's lovely, or at least from what I remember of it. Very," she pauses, making vague gestures with her hands, "...bright." She pauses laughing a little. "I've recently taken up archery. I figured I needed something else to do with my time besides laze around in here, so, yeah. I'm not that great at it yet, though."

"Sure ye'll do fine, just takes practice is all. Let me know if tis aught I can do to 'elp, also Kate's an archer too, might be more 'elpful to learn from 'er. An aye, was bright an big but 'as a park in it with lovely trees."

"I'd actually appreciate a lesson sometime or another, from you or Kate. I've been doing my best to help Cyrus, but seeing as I'm not that much farther along, I don't really know whether my instruction has done more harm or good."

She sighs, looking a little wistful. "I always thought the city was especially beautiful at night, if you're around areas like Times Square, or Broadway. Central Park is lovely, too."

"Then be glad to 'elp ye, we both tend to practice earlier in the day, I use an English longbow an Kate's bow is close but na 'xactly that, she could tell ye best. Probably be doin' fine, tisna easy to learn, 'member when Robin was first trainin' me 'ow my fingers would bleed an the awful bruises I'd get. We werena there that late in the day, but aye thought New York was lovely, tis Kate's 'ome."

Madolyn glances at her right hand; the tips of her index, middle, and ring finger are bandaged. "Thanks. Has Kate seen Sherwood yet?"

"Nay, na yet, tis snowin' there an rather na show 'er it when Winter is so 'ard. Also 'avena been together that long, only since I returned."

Now Will blushes quite red since he's rather amazed at what's happened in such a short period of time.

Madolyn grins, but doesn't comment.

"How did you two get together?"

"Met 'er 'fore I left, she's only been in the Bar a short time an just enjoyed talkin' then month or so passed when I was in Sherwood. She 'elped care for me when I was sick an just found ourselves 'ere."

"That's awfully sweet. I'm glad you match."

Lots more blushing from Will,

"Tis a lovely way to say it that we match an aye tis true."

Madolyn grins, taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

"It's getting pretty cold these days, isn't it? You can almost feel it in the Bar, although I have no doubt the heating system is doing the best it can."

"Oh aye, though na snowin' as much as it is in Nottingham. Tis a snowstorm outside my door. An the fire 'ere is wonderful."
