Always something seemed to prevent going back to the infirmary. A breakthrough in his programing, preping to go back into the Hive- all things that could honestly wait to be done but seemed to pull his attention more than usual. The fevers had come back and tylenol wasn't cutting it any more thus the reason for a t-shirt and sandles.

Something else had happened in the night when Kaplan was working: the sense of being traped inside the room. It was almost like his sense of space had taken a total 180 making the room very uncomfortable. However when he made it into the bar with computer in hand the noise was deafening. At his usual booth the former Umbrella computer tech sits with his left bandaged hand covering his left ear. The most unusual thing the pale man does is, while staring at the computer screen, is blink his eyes more than usual then rub at them with his other hand. He couldn't focus.

Today had to be the worst day ever.
