A teenager plops down near her with a book. He's 'reading' it. More to the point he's thinking about what happened last week with Deadpool. He shuts his eyes, not a good memory. How could that guy live? Come on, his head was encased in something, and he had no skin on his face?!

Oh, no, now he was thinking about how everyone knew about how him and Kitty were an item. This could turn out bad.

He shuts his book and looks into the fire.

She felt it more than anything. Agitation... though she could be wrong. Green eyes look towards the teenager who had plopped down near her. Though she's not so sure that she's seen him around before. Nor has she seen him around Xavier's Institute.

"Hard day?"

"More like a bad year," he says.

Peter looks up.

"I'm Peter Parker, I don't think we've met," he says extending a hand.

That hand gets a firm yet gentle shake and the warmth that's normally around her can be felt as well.

"Dr. Jean Grey. And I'm sorry to hear that. Must be hard to deal with." She knows what it's like to have a rough year. It wasn't pleasant at all.

"Jean Grey?" he asks, "Like the X-Man, Jean Grey?"

All this warrants a strange look.

"Unless there's another me going around or someone around with my face then, yes, X-Man Jean Grey. That'd be me."

This, in turn, warrants a strange look from her. She's not too entirely sure how this teenager knows her name.

"Well, the Jean Grey I know is, like, a teenager, and last time Logan pissed her off, I ended up in her body," he says, "Are you that Jean?"

More weird looks.

That gets him a weird look. He ended up in her body? And Logan... no, she'd had Logan kill her. Not that she'd stayed dead but still.

"No, I'm not."

Peter realized his mistake and rubbed his forehead.

"I mean I ended up in his body," he said, "But, you aren't from my world are you?"
