The last time Cyrus was on the other side of the bar, he was a grad student supplementing his meager TA income with a two night a week job at a pub near the USC campus. He's sure he can get the hang of it again, but just looking at the vast number and variety of bottles, he feels a bit overwhelemed. And privileged. There are scotches here he has been seeking for a long time.

Not that it's likely anyone wants scotch so early. It's breakfast time, and while the rats seems to be waiting for customers, Cyrus finds the coffee and the coffeepot and brews a fresh supply.
