The Front Door opens. Two people can be seen just on the other side; a petite, redhaired female Gen, and a baseline young man. She's holding the door open for him. Kevin smiles at Ilyana, and impulsively hugs Rior's Sosectu. She reciprocates, before letting him go. "I'll catch up with you later," she murmurs. "Go on, and don't worry. We'll find you."
Not without regret, he moves across the threshold into Milliways. The door shuts behind him.
He glances down at his right hand, before shaking himself, and looking around
alertly. He'd left for the Householder's world almost a month ago, by the time there, and certain habits hadn't been necessary. This wasn't Rior, or Nivet, though, and a month wasn't long enough for him to forget.
He flags down a waitrat to order a late lunch, suddenly aware of his stomach
growling.
After some thought, he asked for a boxed lunch, and some extra items to take back with him. He'd be heading back to his own world shortly. Past time he did, but he'd take advantage of Milliways' luxuries while he could.
