"Tis just costumes, Wellington, Lady Bar's dressin' folks up for All 'allow's Eve."

"Tis alright, was quite surprisin', least she 'asna done anythin' to ye."

"Wombles don't celebrate All Hallows' Eve." Wellington says with a little shrug. "Except that we all get a half night off because it's too dangerous to go out."

He still looks embarrassed. "But it's the beginning of spring back home, so I wasn't really expecting it."

"All we see of it at home is broken pumpkins and eggs and things. They're quite tasty actually. But there's a lot of litter too."
