He stood in the middle of the bar.  This time, it wasn't quite as obvious that he was on his guard.  There were no totems dropped onto the ground around him.  There was no lightning sentinel circling him as he stood.  But he wore thicker leathers and a slightly suspicious gaze as he took in his surroundings

"Hello!"

Look! It's a cute and floating little girl! She's wearing all blue. She has pigtails.

And yes, she's floating.

Sagorne watched her with a skeptical eye. "...Greetings, small human child."

Floating or not, she was still human.

"Greetings, large non-human, uh-" Bubbles is stuck and goes back to what she knows. "Hi! I'm Bubbles!"

"I am a Tauren," he said, his voice as gentle as bass gravel could be, though with a hint of distrust. A human child named 'Bubbles.' This must be the child of a paladin. It seems the humour a human paladin would have. "My name is Sagorne Creststrider."

"Ooh, that's pretty," Bubbles says. She wants to braid his mane. "I like your outfit! That's a very nice ring. The Professor said we could have earrings when we're fourteen and we can start learning to drive when we're fifteen which I think is silly because we've already driven boats and tanks and flown planes. But that's the law!"

That is quite an amount of words from such a small creature. He slowly blinks as he tries to take it all in. Thanks to the dwarves, gnomes, and goblins, he knows about tanks and planes, but the thought of a child piloting one - let alone a human child...

Whatever a professor was, though, "I would agree with... the professor."

"And we once did property destruction," she says property destruction in the way of someone who learned by mimicking her sisters as they slowly broke apart the syllables for study, "with a giant robot, so there aren't any more giant robots allowed in Townsville. That's where I'm from! Where are you from?"

...Humans talk too much.

"I am from Thunder Bluff in Mulgore." That, he could easily say. If any human decided to come into Thunder Bluff, they would do so at their own risk. "You must be from the planet I was told is named Earth."

[bubblesflies]

"Yes. It's a nice place. There are cities, and over that there are clouds, and when you go above the clouds there's a pretty atmospheric band and above that it looks like a blue and white ball."

Bubbles likes space.

[creststrider]

"I... see." It sounds like... any planet, in his opinion. "You know the appearance of your planet from above?"

[bubblesflies]

"Yes! I've flown to the moon before! I missed home and the rocks didn't look like anything. They were all broken and spiky. My sisters were there too, they flew with me, and they didn't like it either. So then we went back."

She's actually improved in storytelling skills over time.

[creststrider]

"I see." Children. On their moon. At least he understood why there were refugees in the Outlands. "You are... adventurous for one so young."

[bubblesflies]

"I'm a Powerpuff Girl! So's Blossom and Buttercup. They're my sisters. We protect Townsville. It's what we've always done."

[creststrider]

Children protecting a town. And visiting the moon. "I... see."

There was little else he could say in answer - he wasn't quite sure he believed it, though he was speaking to a small girl who ... floated.
